The pool area was a real highlight, with a nice pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. The steam room and sauna only run at certain times, so check the hotel website. The rooms were superb, the team were friendly and always happy to help, and it was great value. Tallinn’s medieval old town is about a 5-8 minute walk away, and the refurbished Rottermann area is right nearby, with plenty of good bars, shops and restaurants. Wonderful hotel.

It stays warm inside even when it’s freezing outdoors. The spacious rooms have nice windows and international TV channels, including English, French, Russian and Italian networks. Staff were accommodating, and the food provided was decently good. The location is handy for the old town. There’s a small gym with dumbbells up to 20kg, plus machines for legs, chest and cardio. It’s quite good, though often busy.

The leisure facilities are included for hotel guests and easy to get to. Rooms are modern, clean and well planned. The staff are friendly, available and go above and beyond. A very nice contemporary hotel.

The reception team were polite, helpful and spoke several languages. Rooms are spacious, renovated and clean, with a fridge, TV, hairdryer, sleepers, bathrobes, other basics, and complimentary juice and water. The central location is a plus, though sound carries easily from outside and the hallway. Breakfast has a good range for different diets, and the freshly made omelet and salmon were especially nice, but it’s overpriced and crowded whenever you go. The relaxation facilities feel too small for a hotel this size: there’s one shared steam sauna for up to eight, plus separate saunas for men and women. The pool fits even fewer people, the jacuzzi maybe four, and only a few people can use the gym at once. This isn’t really a spa hotel. It’s a good choice if your budget and central location matter, but if you want a spa or luxury hotel, or a cheaper option, you may want to stay somewhere else.
