Rocca al Mare Hotel

This hotel is a good base for trying the sauna and visiting the zoo, open air museum, and huge Rocca al Mare shopping centre. It's on Tallinn's outskirts, but a taxi ride from the airport takes 15-20 minutes, and the nearest local bus stop is right across the street from the entrance. My double room was spotless, and the staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a nice range of fruit, salad, hot savory food, eggs, cold cuts, marinated fish, yoghurt, pastries, pancakes, and cakes. I also liked looking out from the dining room across the Baltic Sea to the buildings on the other side. Hotel guests can use the sauna and pool free from 18:00 to 22:00. I checked in late and unfortunately missed them.

Plenty of parking, a tasty breakfast included in the price, and kind, helpful staff. The hotel was clean and tidy, and I simply enjoyed my stay.

Nice room and staff who speak good English. The pool in the basement was nice, though the water felt a little cold, and there's also a sauna. Breakfast could have been better. It's a nice hotel in a perfect spot near the sea.

The room was filthy, with stained sheets and mold in both the toilet and room. It looked nothing like the online photos, which seemed clearly photoshopped. I paid €154 for two nights, but it felt like a total waste. I started itching all over and couldn't sleep, so I had to check out a night early. When I asked for a partial refund, they refused. There was no apology or professionalism, just extremely rude and careless staff. I've attached photos and videos as proof, and can even attach a screenshot of our email. Don't be fooled by the fake pictures. Do NOT stay here. This place is dirty and dishonest. You've been warned.
