Three Crowns Residents

Right in the center of Old Town, and the building has kept its historic look. Breakfast was basic and tasty, though the only sweet option was sponge cake. My room was dusty, and the bathroom smelled really bad. Not three-star quality.

The location is hard to beat, just a minute's walk from the main square. The staff were truly impeccable, from reception to the breakfast room waiters, always smiling and ready to help. But our room was on the fifth floor, and with no elevator, handling suitcases was a real hassle. Luckily one bag wasn't essential, so we left it in the free luggage storage. The fifth-floor rooms are in the attic and quite low, though still livable. The constant sewer smell from the bathroom was unbearable and completely inexcusable. The value for money was decent, but that smell seriously affected the stay.

The room was spacious and good, and the heating worked very well even though it was -10° outside. We had an early checkout, so the very kind guy at reception made us breakfast to take away. We really appreciated it.

Room 106 was directly above the karaoke bar, and it ruined our visit. The bar stays open until 4 am, and the music and bass were too much even with earplugs. We got no sleep at all, so don't stay here if you need to sleep. We came a year earlier and didn't have this problem because our room was on a higher floor.
