Bob W Tartu Old Town

We were very happy with our stay at Bob W Duo Loft Tartu. The room was spotless, cozy, and stylish, with everything needed for a comfortable stay, down to the smallest details. Right in the city center, the location made everything walkable. A great hotel, and one I can confidently recommend for a short or longer stay.

My partner and I kept noticing little things in the room that were well thought out. The kitchenette was super practical, an iron and ironing board were included, and the shower worked well. Its slope was barely visible but did its job, keeping the rest of the floor dry, and they even provided a squeegee. There was both loose leaf tea and tea bags, which completely blew my mind, just the cherry on top of an already great experience. Everything was clean and modern, in a good location, and the price was great. We were genuinely pleased. Thanks for a great stay!

The room was clean and stylish, access was convenient and contactless, and the hotel was good for the price. We liked our stay overall. One thing to keep in mind when booking the “loft” for three travelers: we were two adults and a child aged 14 who is 182 cm tall. The double bed is on the second level, where the ceiling is too low for anyone taller than 145 cm to stand up. I didn’t see the ceiling height information, or may have missed it when booking. This isn’t a complaint, just a note for other travelers. The website lists street parking at 3EUR per hour and says where to find cheaper street parking at 1.5 EUR per hour. It would also be useful to mention the yard parking across the street, which costs 10EUR per day. If you want more than a bun for breakfast, I’d skip paying for breakfast with the room. The hotel cafe has nothing else, while Werner cafe, 5 minutes away and also included in the 10 EUR breakfast package, only offers something else after 8:30 AM. The room’s kitchen lets you make whatever breakfast you want after buying groceries nearby. Otherwise, it’s a good hotel and appropriate for the price.

The room was small but tidy, and the toiletries and coffee were world-class. This new hotel is self-service, so there’s no reception or lobby. It’s good value for money and sits at the end of the walking street, in a decent location. The standard checkout time is peculiarly early, at 8 am, and you have to pay extra to stay longer. The online portal showed late checkouts as sold out, even in a quieter season?
