I especially liked the salt pool, where you can float on the very salty water and just relax. We bought the full spa ticket, so there were pools, jacuzzis, saunas, and salt rooms to try. Four hours gave us plenty of time to sample everything and linger in the spots we liked. The main pool and jacuzzis felt a bit cold, especially after the saunas, and would have been more comfortable if the water were warmer. Still, it was a really nice visit, and the price seemed fair for the service.

The breakfast was amazing, and the hotel is spacious, with large comfortable rooms and, in our deluxe room, a huge bathroom with a bathtub. It’s also connected to a shopping center. I’d heard a lot about the place and finally tried it, and most of the stay was positive. A few things let it down. Our room was listed as having a “view,” which was technically true, but it looked onto an inner roof with pipes, hoses, and other construction or service items. The TV was a 15+ year old Samsung with no internet, Netflix, or Bluetooth. With our child needing to sleep at 20, being stuck in the room afterward without a usable TV was annoying. I also found it odd that the saunas had no music. Sitting in the dark with only distant splashing and people talking outside felt a bit bleak. At other spas I’ve visited, themed saunas have different music, and I expected something similar here.

We enjoyed the Finnish sauna and then the cold plunge, and the mineral jacuzzi was especially relaxing. The kids’ area kept our little one entertained, and the changing rooms were thoughtfully set up. They even have lockers where you can charge your phone securely while you’re in the water. The whole center was impressively clean, with lots of saunas to choose from. My wife, our child, and I spent two hours at V Spa this morning. It was a high-quality visit, though 78 EUR for two hours as a family felt pricey compared with the local market. I was also disappointed that the infrared sauna, UV sessions, and fitness area cost extra on top of the entry fee. For that price, a more inclusive feel would make sense. We live in Tartu and would love a yearly subscription or loyalty program. More affordable access for locals would make us more likely to come back often.

The spa centre was spotless, the staff were friendly, and the saunas were amazing. We didn’t stay at the hotel, but absolutely loved our time at the spa and would definitely return. I’d only change the water temperatures: make the jacuzzi warmer than the pool, around 40-50C, and the cold plunge a little colder, around 5C if possible. Everything else gets a 10/10 from me.

We got lucky with an upgrade to a hotel room with a tub and an extra bed for our child. The rooms were lovely, and the staff were great. The spa was a great experience too, with several saunas, steam rooms, salt rooms, and a salt pool. Thanks for a wonderful stay, I’d definitely recommend it. The location is another plus: Ahha centre and the Aura aqua park are just a few minutes away. There’s also a shopping mall next to the hotel, along with plenty of cafes and restaurants.
