The spa was outstanding and the food delicious. The hotel is huge, with lots of treatments and activities, so there’s something for everyone. I’d especially recommend it to people who love nature. I didn’t take photos of the hotel or room, but the park beside the hotel is worth a visit, and the beach is a must.

The spa was okay, though I’d suggest the adults-only area if you want a more relaxing visit. The massages and treatments were good, with lots of options. Our room had a nice sea view and the things we needed, like a fridge, bottle opener, dryer, and hangers, but it felt a bit outdated. There was just one flat pillow. The temperature couldn’t be adjusted, and it was so warm that we left the window wide open even at night to sleep normally.

We had a wonderful, proper holiday, splitting our time between the spa and 18+ Orchid Wellness. It was a great retreat and helped us recharge. The facilities were clean, and friendly staff kept an eye on everything.

The rooms are awful and haven’t been updated in years. There’s no air conditioning, broken power outlets, and bedside lamps that don’t work but get hot, which feels like a fire hazard. There are no slippers, no room phone, and too few outlets by the bed to charge a phone. The shower is very dark, with ecobulbs everywhere. Staff don’t care about concerns with the room or venue. If there’s a private party at the Mare bar, forget a good night’s sleep, the music carries both outside and into the rooms. The spa, location, and parking are fine.
