I’ve worked in hostels before, and I just can’t understand this. I know overbooking can happen and there may be no room, but I had made my reservation a week earlier and was left with a short message saying, “we are full.” There was no apology or excuse, and nobody tried to help.

The main house has spacious rooms and is a very nice place. It was a pity that we couldn’t make use of the lake, since wedding preparations were happening downstairs the next morning and we didn’t want to.

I camped near the main house in my own tent. They let me use the shower and toilet.

We had a great time and the place was really nice and tidy. The bad smell from our bathroom, and from the water too, was the exception.
