Mövenpick Hotel Cairo - Media City

The reservation issue I ran into was handled with real care. Ahmed, the Front Office Manager, and his team were attentive and understanding, and put in a lot of effort to support us through it. Their quick, thoughtful response reflected the hotel’s standards, and it’s the kind of service that makes me want to return. We also had a very enjoyable stay at the Mövenpick Hotel Cairo-Media City. The hotel is lovely and comfortable, with a great atmosphere. The facilities, food, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. Thank you to Ahmed and the whole team for making the experience such a positive one.

Reem at the Front Office deserves a special thank you. She was warm, professional, and so helpful, and really added something special to my stay. The rooms have a beautiful view and feel new, elegant, and luxurious. Everyone on staff was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely kind. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend the hotel. I’m looking forward to coming back.

Breakfast was a great surprise even though we’d only paid for it. There was loads to choose from each morning, including local dishes, pancakes, French toast, porridge, fresh fruit, pastries, jams, and plenty more. We also loved the sushi restaurant, and the hotel entertainment was enjoyable. The pool was excellent, especially the 60cm deep “river” around the inner pool, which was so relaxing to float in. The staff made the stay feel especially welcoming. Mo at La Terezza was kind and personable every day, and would stop for a chat even when busy. Magdy by the pool was just as thoughtful. He paid attention to how I like my sun bed set up, with my face in the shade and my body in the sun, and had it arranged perfectly each day without me needing to ask again. Our rooms at the Mövenpick Hotel Cairo-Media City were modern, clean, and kept wonderfully cool in the heat. The whole hotel felt comfortable. Everyone we met was polite, professional, and helpful. Thanks to all the staff, and especially Mo and Magdy, for making our stay memorable. We’d love to return.

We booked a Premiere Twin Room, which was neat and clean. The pool was clean each morning and the pool service was good. Breakfast was very good, and the Italian-style restaurant worked well for lunch or dinner. The staff were lovely, polite, and helpful. Ahmed, the breakfast waiter, was especially kind. He packed extra donuts for our daughter every morning. Thanks, Ahmed, you’re a real diamond. Greetings from Bosnia and Herzegovina. One tip if you book: avoid the hotel taxi, it costs 10-15 times more than Uber or Careem. We paid each Careem driver double instead of riding in the hotel taxi company’s fancy vehicle.
