Tolip Resort Elgalala Hills

The party on the second day was really enjoyable and brought a fun feel to the stay. Service was excellent and well organized, and staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. Our room was comfortable and clean. The food was okay, with a reasonable amount of variety. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel.

The view from the room was perfect, and the location is excellent. But over our 4 nights, the poor room cleanliness, discourteous kitchen staff, and bland food with little variety left us disappointed. Breakfast in particular was limited and the same every day. The view is why I gave it 2 stars, but overall I don’t think the stay was worth it.

The bathroom hygiene was a nightmare, and the hotel felt like a mess. When I first walked in, there was a large dead bug squashed in the middle of the toilet floor. It looked like someone had killed it and just left it there. I found more insects and had to deal with them myself, which isn’t how I wanted to spend a vacation. With that level of filth I was honestly afraid there might be lice, though thankfully there weren’t any. The food was bland and tasteless, with frozen items and seemingly no effort put into it. Service was slow and bad. Reception ignored calls, and both of our cafe visits were disappointing. The cafe was empty when we ordered coffee for 4 people, but it took 40 minutes to arrive. Another time, a fruit plate took an hour. The staff acted like they didn’t care and were being forced to work. Believe the reviews. This hotel claims to be a great level but delivers nothing, and it’s one of the worst I’ve stayed at. Don’t book here at any cost. There are tens of other hotels in the area, and I’m sure any of them would be an upgrade from this one star hotel.

The animation team is really good, especially mustafa, who is so professional with the showes and in the pool. Our rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff were very helpful.
