The location is what I liked most about this nice hotel, more than any of its other advantages. It's close to Mansheya and Raml station.

The staff were super nice, and I had a good day overall. The air conditioner wasn't working properly, though.

I've been to Egypt four times since 2001 and had never run into anything like this. Right after checking in, I went to my room, then came back to the front desk to ask for the AC remote. The guy there demanded baksheesh before he'd give it to me. When I said no, he picked up the phone and seemed confused, so I left my room key on the desk and walked out. Very unprofessional. I don't recommend this hotel.

There's a local market all around, and the sea is just a few steps away. The staff are friendly, and I'd recommend the place. My room was very small, though, with a very low ceiling for a budget hotel, and I could hear noise from upstairs.

A clean, well-run budget hotel with friendly staff and a central location.
