The hotel is in a very quiet area. Carrefour is about an hour's walk away, and the nearest shops are 30 minutes away. Across the road, you can catch a very cheap microbus (mashroua) to the station, or use Uber. The staff are kind and helpful, and there's a large pool. Part of it is used for swimming lessons, but guests still have a big section to use. Rooms are very large and simple, with three beds. The sheets were clean, though I brought my own. Towels aren't supplied, and there are only two small bars of soap, so bring towels and buy shower gel. There's a kettle, but you need to ask staff for tea and sugar. The air conditioning runs all day, while the TV doesn't work. Wi-Fi is free at reception, but in-room access costs £10 Egyptian pounds for 1 GB.
4/10
Really disappointing. The sheets weren't clean, even after they were changed. The breakfast wasn't fit to eat, and the hotel is lacking in several areas, including location and cleanliness.
4/10
I came for a business trip and chose this place expecting to be near the port, but it isn't close at all. The Google Maps location is misleading and wrong. There's nothing around the hotel, and the amenities are poor, including a very small TV.
2/10
Awful place. It wasn't clean, there was no water heater or air conditioning, and the facilities were poor.
4/10
I really hope they improve again, especially the cleaning service, but right now I wouldn't recommend visiting. It's sad to see the place keep getting worse. Seven years ago it was much better. The sheets were clean, room service was quicker, and there were more visitors. Now the rooms and sheets aren't cleaned properly, the service is very bad, and breakfast keeps getting worse. The bread is like stone, the eggs seem old, and the honey is really bad. The mats look as if they haven't been cleaned in years, the AC doesn't work properly, and the floor isn't cleaned well.
