Hapi Hotel

The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were warm, kind, and helpful. Even though it’s a 3-star place, the comfort and service felt like more. Everything I needed was available, and the location made things convenient. I had a pleasant stay and would choose this hotel again. Good value and great service.

Hoosam and Marwan were great representatives of their country and the hotel. I checked in to a glass of juice and got a boxed breakfast when I checked out. The staff were always smiling and accommodating, and the service was better than at other hotels charging twice as much. For the price, even the room carpet needing a shampoo was more than acceptable. The place has a bohemian feel and is just a minute’s walk from the souk. I loved looking at the Nile during breakfast and walking along it in the evening. The atmosphere and setting made for an authentic Egyptian experience, and I highly recommend it.

The breakfast was basic but nice, and the view from the 6th floor is gorgeous. The location is excellent, close to the souq, corniche, and train station. But the triple room is a rip-off for the price. It’s so narrow we hated how hard it was to move around. The bathroom was tiny for three people, and I bumped my head on the towel holder several times.

It was just okay. The staff were friendly, the WiFi worked, breakfast was just okay, and the AC worked really well. The shower got hot, but if you weren’t careful it flooded the rest of the bathroom. There was a LOT of street noise in the room, even on the 3rd floor where we stayed. I probably wouldn’t stay here again, though I also wouldn’t come to Aswan a third time.
