Nuba Narty

We had agreed that the island would be rented for a private event, and we put a lot of money into arranging a full afterparty with two bars, staff, and the event setup. During the event, the owner opened his own bar on the island at lower prices, which cost us a lot financially. He also brought his own guests onto the island without permission. That ruined the atmosphere and months of planning. After we left Aswan, I posted an honest account of what happened. The owner then harassed and blackmailed me, threatening to release security camera footage from near our rooms. I have screenshots and voice notes of him saying these things. This is deeply disturbing and raises serious privacy and safety concerns. We were scammed out of a large amount of money at nuba narty. The owner has kept accusing and blackmailing us ever since. It was one of the most frightening and horrible experiences I've had, and one of the least professional. If I were still in Aswan, I would have filed a police report. I want people to know what happened on that island and avoid it under any circumstances. I wouldn't trust this place, especially for a private event where you expect agreements, professionalism, and guest privacy to be respected.

Staying on the beautiful islands of Aswan was a great experience. The local man who runs the hotel was kind and made sure our requests were taken care of. Plumbing and electricity could be a little unreliable at times, but otherwise it was a very good stay.

A lovely quiet island location, and there were some very cute dogs around too 🐕👍 The owner and staff were generous and kind. The rooms feel like staying in a traditional Nubian village 👍👍

The owner was rude when he spoke to us, and just before we arrived we were told our reservation had been cancelled. After booking, we couldn't get hold of the hotel anymore. I wouldn't trust a place like this for a stay. The customer service was the worst.
