The apartment's large living room and Nile view were the only good parts. The rest was terrible: the bedrooms and kitchen were old, filthy, and torn. The fridge, dishwasher, and stove weren't working when we arrived, and some parts were missing. The host refused to fix them or cooperate, and stopped communicating with us. He wanted his money regardless of the apartment's condition and didn't seem to care about guests. The beds were painful and uncomfortable. The bedrooms were very old, the blankets were damaged, the sheets were dirty and worn, and the mattresses had sunk about three fingers deep. We asked him to replace the mattresses and blankets and provide the services promised in our contract, but he refused. I also asked to change my reservation and he wouldn't agree. My father was sick, on oxygen, in a wheelchair and unable to move. Before we arrived, I asked whether the apartment was suitable for someone with disabilities. The host said yes, but falsely told me the bathroom was close to the bedroom. It's about 6m away. He treated us disrespectfully and showed no consideration for my elderly father. Airbnb asked the host to fix the dishwasher, modem, and refrigerator, and replace the mattresses and linens in the filthy apartment. When he refused, the booking was canceled under my agreement with Airbnb, and I got a full refund, thank God. I then booked a cleaner, more beautiful apartment on the Nile at a reasonable price, with luxurious furnishings that were well worth it. I cleaned this apartment, changed the lights, and fixed the plumbing, paying 1500 Egyptian pounds out of my own pocket for my father's comfort. The attached photos prove my point. I don't recommend dealing with this owner.
