Sonesta Club Sharm El Sheikh

We had fun with the hotel activities, and the baby-friendly options like the cinema and pool were nice. The food is fresh around the clock. It’s a wonderful hotel where everything is complete. Give it a try, you won’t lose.

The second-line location seemed to keep it quieter than Sonesta Club 5*, which suited families looking for peace. We spent seven days here over New Year and found the hotel spacious and comfortable, with a nice interior and several pools. The beach is reachable, though it takes about a 20-minute walk. Some things bothered us: Wi-Fi wasn't free, there were stains, and staff sometimes pushed services like fresh juices that weren't fully organic. We also saw cockroaches in the room and kitchen, and the animation felt fake. I'd recommend it for a first visit, but probably wouldn't come back.

The food was freshly cooked, with a good choice, and the hotel and grounds were exceptionally clean. The breakfast egg chef deserves special credit for keeping three guests supplied at once with eggs cooked different ways. We had a wonderful first visit to Sharm El Sheikh and are already planning to return in late February or March 2016. What made it so special was the staff. From reception, dining, cleaning and bar teams to Khalid at the pool, the gardeners and entertainment crew, everyone was cheerful, helpful and welcoming. Nothing felt like too much trouble. After visiting many places around the world, we can honestly say the Sonesta Club Hotel team was the friendliest and most helpful we've encountered. Thank you to the management and staff.

I had such a great time there. It's a wonderful hotel, and I'll keep coming back.
