I had a Nile view room, but the pad was extremely dirty. When I asked for it to be cleaned, they said room service wasn’t working at the time. We also had a payment dispute after paying cash for two nights. Reception refused Visa and Instapay, then claimed we’d only paid half, even though that claim came four hours after he had taken the money.
The balcony views over the Nile are fantastic, and the linen and towels were spotless. The beds are great and the hotel is clean. Staff are cheerful and very nice, and the restaurant serves simple, fresh, home cooked food. I grew up in the early 60s, and to me this place feels like a palace with old world charm. The location overlooking the Nile is fantastic.
The reception team made our stay memorable with such thoughtful service. Mr. Saieed Ghareeb and Mr. Ahmed Gamal looked after us throughout and went above and beyond. The hotel is clean, the food delicious, and the location right on the Nile is perfect. The nightly price was very affordable too. Thanks to both of them and to Arabia Hotel!
There’s a lovely lake view from all sides, though music blaring day and night makes it very noisy. The hotel is neat, clean, and beautiful, and the food there was good. Best of all is the pizza restaurant downstairs. It was the best pizza I’ve ever had in Egypt.
As a first time visitor from Canada, I was surprised this hotel isn’t rated higher. It’s right on the Nile corniche, with a great view and location, good food, and excellent service. There’s a kitchen open 24/7 as well. Everything was easy for me, and the place is clean and affordable, with great staff. I’ll definitely be back.
