I found used tissues and plastic cups under the couch when I checked in, and the kitchen drawers and cabinets were stained. The apartment clearly hadn't been cleaned properly, and the hygiene was unacceptable. When I complained, nobody apologized. The staff became even ruder and more dismissive, which felt especially unacceptable as a returning customer. In Egypt, Birdnest has been my worst accommodation experience. I wouldn't recommend staying here under any circumstances.

The apartment's WiFi was weak, didn't reach the bedrooms, and kept interrupting the IPTV. That was the main shortcoming in an otherwise enjoyable stay at Birdnest's facility in Aura compound at Cairo Festival City. We had a lively view over the business park and beautiful sunsets. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and responsive to all our questions. Self check-in and check-out were easy. The compound and buildings felt secure, with a security guard at the entrance around the clock. The apartment was very clean and well maintained, with modern new furniture. The bedrooms were spotless and the beds comfortable, and the kitchen had plenty of appliances, utensils, and gadgets. The location was great too, about a 10-minute walk from Cairo Festival Mall and 16 minutes from Downtown Katameya Mall. We really enjoyed our stay, and I'd highly recommend Birdnest to anyone visiting Egypt, especially New Cairo.

The place is clean, modern, and peaceful, and the service was very professional, especially from Ms. Mariam. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo.
