I had a magical stay at Silver Palm compound in building 5 before, booked through airbandb, so I decided to return this year. This time I booked directly through their website, at silver spring building 7, and the experience was awful. I booked a month ahead and arranged everything. They asked when I'd arrive, but when I got there security hadn't been told about me, and nobody answered when they tried to reach the person in charge. The apartment air conditioning didn't work, and I spent two weeks without it. I emailed several times and got no reply. I stayed nearly 22 days without cleaning staff, so I bought a mop, vacuum, and all the cleaning supplies myself. There were no extra blankets, bed sheets, or towels until days later. When I asked for things, no one answered. At checkout they emailed to say it was 11, and wouldn't allow me two extra hours. A woman showed up around 11 that morning, said she was the building supervisor, and told me nobody had informed her about us. It was the first time I'd seen her in three weeks. She only remembered us at checkout. I won't repeat this stay. If you really want to stay with them, my advice is to book through Airbandb so you can get your rights.

I stayed at Silver Palm for two weeks on my own and couldn't have been happier. I felt very safe and comfortable, and the location is ideal. The hosts were attentive and responded whenever I needed something. I'd happily stay here again and again. A 10/10 experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt.

Mohamed's hospitality really made my time at the Silver Palm compound. He was so helpful and responsive, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and enjoyed my stay. The location was perfect, the amenities were great, and the property itself was stunning. I'd definitely stay here again.

O1 Mall is close by, with plenty of restaurants and cafes, and the compound is also near major malls and attractions. I liked how peaceful and secure it felt, with attentive guards and a luxurious design. The location in Cairo’s 5th Settlement is convenient. One downside is that ongoing work in some apartments can be noisy.

The apartment itself had great furniture, a lovely layout, and attractive design, but the management needs better training. Getting in was a hassle, and visitors aren’t allowed. We were a family of six, yet the guard questioned us one by one to check our names. Our check-in was for 2 pm, so I arrived at 1 with the kids because we had nowhere else to go. They wouldn’t let us in early, then the apartment still wasn’t ready after 2:30. Things seemed rushed: my kids’ duvet covers were damp, though staff changed them after we complained. There are no physical keys, so be careful not to enter the access code incorrectly too many times or you’ll be locked out with an alarm blaring. The neighborhood also looks run-down, so it isn’t the best location.
