Grand Plaza Hotel

A really bad experience, with low-quality rooms, especially the triple room, and poor service at the pool. There was no mini par, refill, kettle, or bottle of water in the room, and we weren't allowed to bring food in from outside. They only have two restaurants; the oriental one called karnk was very bad. One receptionist, mariam, was unprofessional, though Esra was nice. Everything was knocked off at 12:30 Am, so I couldn't even buy bottled water. Because of that, my kids had nothing to drink until 8 am. Baaaaaaaaad experience.

The worst hotel I've ever visited. There were no facilities in the room and the bathroom smelled bad. There was no service anywhere in the hotel after 11 pm. The receptionist Mariem wasn't honest with her information and made no effort to help the guest. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a vacation.

The service here is on another level. Mr Ahmed Hossam genuinely cares about the guests. I could call him from anywhere outside the hotel and he would answer and arrange help. As a foreign traveler, I’ve never met a hotel manager anywhere who was this tuned in to guests. I’d love to come back 👏💯🌟🙌👌

We had a huge two-bedroom apartment with a nice balcony, and the hotel itself is lovely. Breakfast was good too. Coming from Bolivia, though, we couldn’t identify the traditional dishes we liked, so little signs in English would help. The staff are the best, always ready to help and speaking very good English. Arabia Mall, Egypt mall and the Pyramids are nearby, and Uber and inDrive are easy to find. The WiFi was a bit tricky, and it might be simpler to connect without usernames and passwords. I highly recommend the place.
