Holiday Inn & Suites Cairo Maadi, an IHG Hotel

We held our daughter Darin’s wedding at this hotel on January 23, 2026, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. The event was elegant, professionally organized, and full of thoughtful hospitality. The team treated our guests with real care and courtesy, helping everyone feel comfortable throughout. Manar was especially helpful, proactive, and quick to sort out any challenges, which made a big difference to the event’s success. We’re grateful to her, Mr. Hesham Mohareb, and Mr. Mohamed for their dedication. Room service was also prompt and clean, with a high standard of service. Our thanks to the management and staff for making this occasion so memorable. We highly recommend the hotel for its hospitality and professionalism.

We had an easy check-in, a great suite, and very helpful staff. Guest relations also helped with our request for in-room decorations, finding us nice ones at good prices. The suite was spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The view was magical, especially at sunset. The corridors are a bit tight, but the suite’s space and view make that easy to overlook. Overnight parking is charged even for hotel guests, which doesn’t make sense to me. The security check felt like a bit much, though I can’t complain about the security itself.

Everything was great, from the service to the location, and the room was comfortable and well maintained. I was surprised there wasn’t a shower cap in a five-star hotel. I called to request one, but it never arrived. It’s a small thing, but this amenity should be available at this standard.

We were there for 5 nights, and the stay was poor for a Holiday Inn. The fridge and safe didn’t work, and one of our key cards was dead, all within the first five minutes in the room. In the shower we found several tubes of shampoo and conditioner but no shower gel. My husband kept sneezing before bed because his nose is very sensitive to dust, and my reading light didn’t work either. The hotel needs to get its maintenance in order. Breakfast was adequate, with the croissants the best option.
