Casa D’or Dahab has a quiet feel, with friendly staff and good value for money. It’s easy to get around on foot to dive spots, cafés, restaurants, and local markets, while the Lighthouse promenade and Red Sea are close by. The rooms are bright and simple, but cozy and equipped with the basics. Some have nice views and private seating areas. It’s a relaxed, affordable base for divers, couples, solo travelers, or anyone wanting a convenient stay in Dahab without being surrounded by noise. Works for a short visit or a longer one.

I’m not sure what happened over the past year. The older reviews all seem positive, but the place is falling apart and filthy.

The staff and managers were wonderful, always going out of their way to help. The hotel feels private, comfortable, peaceful, and luxurious. It’s a beautiful place for a truly relaxing break, and I’d absolutely recommend it.

We had a great stay at Casa D’or. Thomas, the owner, was lovely, easy to talk to, and really helpful. Communication was quick, and the team helped arrange taxis when we needed them, including pickup from Sharma at a much fairer price than the taxis there charge. They welcomed us with cold fresh mango juice and explained how the hotel works, and they also offered to connect us with activities. Our room was spacious, pretty, and clean, and the facilities were well kept. It was cleaned daily, and the other guests were respectful. When we accidentally left the key inside, the staff helped us out. My partner can be picky and has expensive taste in hotels, but he liked this one too. Nothing but good things to say, 10/10.

The pool was a lovely place to unwind after exploring town, and the restaurant served food we really enjoyed. Staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with elegant decor, air conditioning, satellite TV, a fridge, and a kettle. Casa d'Or Dahab is a peaceful spot that still makes it easy to explore the city. A hidden gem, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Dahab.
