The views are breathtaking, and the hotel makes for a peaceful retreat in Dahab. The accommodations feel refined yet homey, making it a lovely place to enjoy some time in style.

The room had no TV or working Wi-Fi, and the fridge was tiny and very old. Clean towels and sheets weren't provided, and there was no housekeeping or room service. The bathrooms badly need maintenance and the whole property needs a major renovation. There were insects everywhere, including bed bugs. This place was absolutely miserable. If zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give it.

The owner seemed friendly, but he should hire better people. This coffee shop seems to be next to the hotel and doesn't have its own listing. There was no advertised service charge, yet when I paid, a very rude guy demanded 10%. I refused, but he kept insisting and wouldn't give me any change.

This is only about the cafe. You can sit inside or outside, with chairs, swings, loungers, and Arabian-style seating to choose from. The staff were decent and very polite, and one waiter even asked what music I wanted. But the coffee tasted and smelled awful, almost like it was made with unclean water.

Having my birthday there turned out to be a great idea, and I wouldn't regret it. The view is amazing, and there's also a place to stay by the sea with a sound system. The vibes, songs, and staff all made the celebration wonderful. I'd highly recommend it for a birthday.
