Manzzel Dahab Hostel

As a local guide, I’m always looking for places that feel true to Dahab, and Manzzel Dahab really does. “Manzzel” means “Home” in Arabic, and it feels like that from the moment you arrive. The artistic, bohemian design reflects the city’s spirit, and there’s a real sense of community. You can meet people here as a solo traveler, or find a quiet spot with a view to work if you’re a digital nomad. It has both a social feel and peaceful corners. Staying here was one of the highlights of my trip.

The staff’s rude, disrespectful attitude made me feel like a burden instead of a guest. There was no friendliness or consideration, and the service was just as bad. The place itself was neglected and far below what I expected, with practically no cleanliness. My stay at Manzzel Dahab Hostel was one of my worst experiences in Dahab. No comfort, respect, service, or value for money. The whole place felt like garbage, from the way I was treated at first to the level of service. I don’t understand how it’s still operating and taking guests. I absolutely don’t recommend it. There are much better places in Dahab that treat people with respect.

Ahmed made the week especially nice. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, always offering tips and checking that things were going well. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the beach and close to ElMamsha, with its cafés, restaurants, and shops. Manzzel Dahab Hostel felt clean, cozy, and like home, with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It was an amazing week, and definitely won’t be my last visit.

It’s a quiet, private place with amazing service, one of the best hostels in Dahab. I’d like to thank Mr. Ahmed for the wonderful hospitality.
