Having the Lighthouse dive sites just a short walk away makes Neptune Hotel a handy base, and the rooms still feel quiet and private. It sits right on the Masbat boardwalk, close to dive centers, cafes, and local markets. Breakfast on the terrace is a treat, with fresh Egyptian food and the Red Sea right beside you. The staff and management are warm and helpful, and can arrange transfers, desert trips, or local tips. The rooms are bright and clean, with local touches and a cozy, bohemian feel. There are fancier resorts farther out, but Neptune has a lot of that old-school Dahab warmth. You arrive as a guest and can leave feeling like family. For photos, the terrace looking toward the Saudi mountains, the blue and white exterior, and the local textiles or artwork in the rooms show its character.

Breakfast was included and came out fresh and well prepared each day. The staff were kind and attentive, and our clean room had nice pillows. The hotel is right by the boardwalk, beside a small beach and dive site, with everything you need within walking distance.

The terrace gives you a great view without having to head out anywhere. Breakfast was good value, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s in the middle of everything, so the area is busy, but it wasn’t loud or noisy.

You can settle in upstairs and enjoy the great view all night. The location has everything around it, and both the breakfast and the staff were excellent.
