It has a laid-back, no-stress vibe, a cozy courtyard, and a clean, well-kept pool that’s a quiet spot away from the busy boardwalk. The staff are helpful, and reviewers often mention the owner’s local knowledge and willingness to arrange trips and activities. The simple, rustic style suits backpackers and anyone after a traditional lodge rather than a modern resort. Rooms are basic for the price and kept clean, though there are no luxury features and some of the furniture is old. The beds are generally comfortable. There’s an on-site restaurant serving traditional breakfast and local meals, with relaxed outdoor seating. Diving centers and snorkeling spots are easy to reach, and the beach is a short walk away. Mashraba is handy if you want to be near things but on a quieter street. The main Masbat boardwalk, with most cafes and shops, is about 5-10 minutes away on foot. Supermarkets and pharmacies are nearby, which is useful for longer stays. The area is walkable, though the street right outside can be dusty, as is typical of Dahab’s side streets.

The manager was kind and moved me to another room when I wasn’t happy with the first one, but the new room wasn’t much different. The rest of the staff looked unfriendly and offered no service. I didn’t like the place. It felt more like a hostel with separate rooms than a hotel.

I had a nice stay here. The staff were friendly and hospitable, and the pool area was decent, clean, and cozy. My room faced the pool and was nice and fairly clean. It’s in a quiet part of Dagab, with groceries and a cafe not far away. I’d recommend it if you want somewhere tidy and not too expensive.

The manager and owner were amazing. He helped with all my travel needs, and the tours and services were well placed, with everything catered for. The hotel is quiet, just outside the bank bustle of life, and the pool is amazing. I could see the ocean from my room, my children loved the facilities, and the fridges in the rooms were brilliant. Safety was amazing and service impeccable. For the price, I can’t really fault it, and I’d definitely stay again. 😊
