Tropitel Dahab Oasis

I also really appreciated Engy from Customer Relations for her kindness, support, and excellent follow-up. Everything at the hotel was well organized and comfortable, and I truly enjoyed my stay. The snorkeling right off the hotel beach was amazing, and there was a lifeguard there every day. We also found the food plentiful and good quality, with a wonderful pasta chef and fabulous service from Ahmed in the restaurant. Tamer and the team were such fun and really friendly. Mr Bean at the pool bar was welcoming, entertaining, and brilliant at his job. It felt like good value, and we’ll definitely come back.

The gardens were beautifully kept, and the view just after sunrise was lovely. My room faced northeast, so I think it might get some sun as the days get longer, though that direction would be a blessing after a day out and about. I arrived late and didn’t open the patio doors until morning. Rakek welcomed me after my flight into Sharm El Sheikh and the taxi ride to the hotel. I hope I’ve spelled his name right. He was a wonderful man, checked me in, and showed me to my room. It was lovely, with two neatly made beds, and both the room and shower room were clean. Meals are buffet style. I was on half board and had a white wristband, while all-inclusive guests wore green. There was plenty of food, including things I hadn’t tried where I live. I don’t want English food when I’m abroad. The staff were great. Mr B at the pool bar was happy to help with anything. Sayed the waiter learned where I liked to sit and would have a selection of food and drinks ready, with the table reserved for me. A big shout-out to the chef and his team, even the pot washer. You’re all stars.

The house reef is right in front of Tropitel Dahab Oasis, and entering from the jetty makes snorkeling easy. Bring your gear. The clear Red Sea and the dramatic Sinai mountains make for a beautiful setting, especially when the sunset turns them gold. Early mornings are calmer and the visibility is incredible. The hotel also has comfortable rooms, a pool, and a restaurant with wide sea views. It seems suited to couples, solo travelers, friends, and especially divers or people who love snorkeling. It’s in a quiet spot outside central Dahab, so a short taxi ride is needed for cafés and nightlife. The main promenade is about a 10-minute drive away, and the famous Blue Hole is only a few minutes away. Taxis from town can get you there easily. March through November is a good time for swimming, snorkeling, and diving. For a peaceful break with nature and great diving nearby, Tropitel Dahab Oasis makes a scenic retreat. Floating above the colorful reef with the mountains behind you and blue water all around feels like finding your own little piece of the Red Sea. ⭐️ 4.6
