Seven Heaven Hotel

I came to Dahab for windsurfing, but after a few windless days I decided to dive since I already had my Open Water Diver licence. That's how I found Seven Heaven Divers. I ended up doing 10 dives in four days and completing my Advanced Open Water Diver. The staff at the station are friendly, communicative, calm, and professional, and it's clear they love the work. The equipment is well cared for and in good condition. Everything before and after the dives was organized without wasting time, and the diving felt very safe, with all the necessary procedures followed. The night dive at the Lighthouse, plus the Canyon, the Bells, and the Blue Hole, are experiences I won't forget. Huge thanks to Omar, my instructor for the AOWD training, for sharing his genuine excitement and respect for marine life and diving. If I ever make it back to places I've travelled, I'll definitely find my way to the Seven Heaven Diving Centre.

We had two dives planned, but both started late and threw off our schedule. Communication about the photos was poor too. A week later, I still hadn't received pictures from any of the sites we dived. They sent only a few photos of two people from our group of seven, then said they didn't have more, which clearly felt like a lie. A dive can be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and you hope to keep some good memories of it. They ruined it for us. I wouldn't recommend them.

I paid in advance for two dives with this center and went with friends. Both were delayed, and I had to keep reminding them I was waiting for the scuba. The way they acted made it seem like they were doing us a favor, despite having our money already. We were told each dive would be 30-40 minutes, but the time underwater was barely 15 minutes. I thought the first one might have been shorter because of the instructions, but the second was the same. Photos were supposed to be included, but two of my friends got none. I also had to remind Rweas, their manager, many times about the rest of the photos. Now I see why this place still had openings when other centres were sold out. I should have read the reviews first. There are plenty of better scuba centres in Dahab. Go somewhere else.

Dahab is a wonderful place to dive, and my dive with Wael was amazing. He quickly put me at ease, and I could tell he knew what he was doing. He was a great instructor.
