I had a great stay at Shams Hotel in Dahab in February. Our sea-view room had a balcony and a beautiful view, lovely for quiet mornings and evenings. The hotel has a relaxed, peaceful feel, and the many friendly, cute cats added a lot of charm. I'd definitely recommend it for a calm stay and would stay there again.

The team at Shams Diving Center took care of everything from the start, including transportation and good quality equipment. Communication was excellent, and I felt supported throughout. The front desk staff were helpful with my questions and anything I needed. My instructor, Coach Mustafa, was especially patient and thorough in his explanations. He made sure I felt comfortable and confident both above and below the water, and his lovely attitude made diving even more enjoyable. I had an amazing experience and couldn't be more satisfied. Highly recommend Shams Diving Center if you're looking to dive in Dahab.

The room was spotless, and the staff kept going out of their way to make sure everything was right. It was easy to explore the city from this location, and the breakfast choices were surprisingly impressive. Really enjoyable stay, with great service and value. I'd happily come back.

The location is fantastic, right in the middle of Dahab, and the receptionist was very polite and friendly. The rooms are quite basic, though, and the AC needs cleaning. It made me sick. The wet, sandy floor in the hotel yard means the room gets dirty and sandy every time you come in. They don't let guests park inside, which can be annoying, although they let me in and out when I checked in and out. It was an okay stay for me, but I don't think I'd choose it again.

The staff made our whole trip. The location is quiet, convenient, and close to everything, and the food was great with options for everyone, including me as a vegan. They also offered exchange services, helped us book activities, and had good recommendations.
