Yasmina Hotel

Yasmina Hotel is tucked along El Farid Street, less than a five-minute walk from the beach and close to local spots such as Love Dahab Bazar. It’s near the action, but still quiet at night. The restaurant offers Egyptian dishes alongside international favorites, and breakfast is a good way to fuel up before a boat trip to Ras Abu Galum. I’m a local guide who appreciates a dependable, family-friendly atmosphere, and I see Yasmina as a lovely fixture in the community. Dahab is known for tiny guesthouses, while Yasmina has a more upscale resort feel at a price that’s hard to find elsewhere. The marble details in the rooms help keep them cool during the intense Sinai summer, and the rooms feel solid, clean, and professional. The outdoor pool is among the better-maintained ones in the area. There are also massage facilities on site, a nice way to ease sore muscles after diving or hiking.

The hotel kept my ID until checkout and refused to return it earlier. That felt very strange and made me feel as if they thought I was some kind of thief. The noise was unbearable too. Cafes and a liquor store beside the hotel played very loud music until 2 AM, on top of the motorcycles and people because of the location. It’s unbelievably noisy. I couldn’t stand it and left two days before my checkout date.

Right in the middle of Dahab’s walk, the location is a big plus, with cafes and shops easy to reach on foot. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and recently renovated. There’s a TV and a PS too. An adjacent coffeeshop has a door leading to and from the hotel entrance.

I’ve been to Dahab many times and stayed in different hotels and camps, but I haven’t had the same service I received here. It’s a very good, clean hotel with good prices, room service, and a convenient location near Huda Mosque, which made getting around easy. Highly recommend it, you won’t regret it ♥️♥️
