The owner is friendly and ready to help, and the new serviced apartments are modern and super clean. From the roof and back windows there’s a nice mountain view. It’s centrally located, close enough to walk to the market square, cafes, and beach, but far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds.

This feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel, but it’s fresh and good as a guesthouse. The main road runs by it, and it’s not on the seaside, so if you don’t need parking you may want to look elsewhere. Don’t confuse it with Light house camp, which is a different property. A couple of things were frustrating: nearby dogs, one plus three, barked and whined almost all night, and figuring out the water took a little puzzle solving. Open the tap, flush the toilet, then wait a minute.

The staff and service were very bad, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. At check-in, I waited two hours for my room until 1pm, while other guests got theirs at 11am. At checkout, they threw my things out at 11am while I was away so they could give the room to someone else. When I got back at 11:30, my luggage was outside and there were guests in the room, even though I still had my key and hadn’t checked out. They hadn’t taken the key from me before giving the room to someone else. The semi-manager was rude too.

The place is new, and the furniture still looks new and nice. The people were helpful, and the prices are competitive. It’s a very nice spot, about a five-minute walk from Lighthouse beach and the city center.

The rooftop gave me some amazing evenings, and the place was so clean. Everyone was really friendly too. Best hotel in Dahab for me. Thanks so much, I’ll be back.
