Embrace Hotel

The building is a real highlight, especially at night when it looks like a little cathedral. There’s a pretty garden, a lovely pool, and the food is great, including a super buffet breakfast. My large room and bathroom were very clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly. It feels like a boutique hotel at a higher level, though the price is mid-range. Set on the quiet West Bank, you hear donkeys and cockerels instead of cars. The ten-minute walk to the ferry is easy despite being partly unpaved, and I could park my rental car. Faultless, highly recommended.

I had a really peaceful, relaxing stay. The room was clean, the restaurant staff were helpful, and everyone was friendly. Great value for what you get. You do have to ask reception for a hairdryer, though. Highly recommend.

I loved the beautiful Egyptian-style building and how the whole hotel looks. Our room was very clean, the staff were kind and helpful, and we even got a welcome drink when we arrived. The food was really good and breakfast was amazing. If you want a calm, relaxing stay on the West Bank, Embrace Hotel Luxor is a lovely choice. I’d recommend it to anyone travelling to Egypt.

The food was amazing, and Hassan looked after us at meals. Everything was organic and made in house, so we didn’t need to go out to eat. The clay and mud rooms were really cool, and the hotel itself is gorgeous, though it was almost hard to find. Everyone working there was so friendly and didn’t hassle anyone for tips. We stayed one night and paid a small fee to keep our room until 5pm instead of the noon checkout because we had a late flight. They also arranged transport to the airport. I only wish the area were nicer, but it was still a cool experience.
