The sea is Lotus’s best feature. It’s naturally sheltered from high, strong waves, unlike most of the North Coast. The rental and visitor section of the beach is very narrow, and four chairs with a large umbrella cost around 500. At night the cafes are okay, nothing fancy, and the fish and grill restaurants were not good at all. Renting here wasn’t very enjoyable for me. Maybe owners have a somewhat different experience.

We found the beach chaotic and stressful, with crowds, dirt, and no organization. Everything costs extra, even chairs, and there aren’t fixed prices. It seemed like the amount could change depending on who you are, which felt unfair and made things a hassle. The only decent part of the beach was blocked, with no clear explanation for keeping guests out. The atmosphere also made it hard to relax. People kept staring, so it didn’t feel like a comfortable place for a proper beach holiday. Service was extremely poor, and the chalet service staff were rude and unprofessional. Lotus Resort fell far short of what I expected. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, relaxing, professional holiday.

It may work for families, but the service was only middling for the price, and the lake wasn’t clean when we tried to go in. I wouldn’t strongly recommend it.

Maybe other people had a better time, and perhaps the apartment I stayed in was the problem, but I really didn’t enjoy this vacation. I rented it for three days from a woman who owned the apartment, and we were miserable. Everything costs so much, even a chair at the pool when you only want it for an hour. The pool wasn’t clean either. I wouldn’t recommend it.
