The air conditioning barely worked, and neither did the mini bar. When I asked about it, they said the mini bar only keeps things at their current temperature, so why not just provide an icebox? I ordered ice from the bar, but it never arrived. There was only breakfast at the hotel, with no food to order during the day or at night. The place was so unclean, with torn blankets and towels. My first time in a hotel where I couldn't wait to get home. I won't recommend it or stay there again.

The dining room has a nice lake view and a wide breakfast selection. Ask for hot milk if you want it, since it comes cold by default. The room was small but cozy, clean, and air conditioned, though it could use a floor carpet, especially in winter. You can get to all the restaurants in about 10 steps, and the Gouna bus station is only 5 steps away. The location is right in the middle of downtown. Views look out either over a garden or the swimming pool and lake. It's an inexpensive choice that suits a small budget. I had a very nice time at Arena Inn and would recommend it. WiFi is only available in the lobby, not in the room.

The staff are super friendly, and the breakfast is amazing. It's clean, with a nice pool, and the hotel itself feels cosy and quiet. If a calm place is what you're after, this one fits. Highly recommended :)

The staff are friendly and efficient, and the hotel is nicely placed near downtown Gouna. It seems quite old, though, and the rooms need a lot of refurbishing. With a makeover and some renovation, it could be a nice place to stay.

It's very clean and the breakfasts are lovely, but this definitely feels like a divers hotel. There's very little happening during the day or evening, and it's extremely quiet. It comes across more like a hostel than a hotel. I wouldn't recommend it for a single, more 'mature' woman.
