Sheraton Miramar Resort El Gouna

I had five really lovely days here and felt welcome the whole time. The staff were professional, helpful and so friendly, from reception through to the waiters. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the hotel. I'd love to come back.

I've stayed in plenty of five-star hotels, but this was easily my best hotel experience. The service from Mohamed Amer, Mohamed Saied, and Abdelhalim Maghawri was stellar. They helped us through a very difficult situation and made sure the hotel went above and beyond, even though the issue wasn't the hotel's fault at all. I'm incredibly grateful to them and the rest of the staff. Every day we were greeted with warm smiles and the best hotel service my family, my now fiancé, and I have ever had. Chapeau to the team and Sheraton Miramar El Gouna for such a memorable stay. I've been telling everyone looking to book in El Gouna about the experience, and I'll book the Sheraton Miramar again without hesitation. Cheers to the whole team.

The pool is heated, but only mildly, and outside there are just cold showers. The area feels very 90s, with plastic sunbeds and a package holiday atmosphere that wasn't what we'd expect from Sheraton. Loud music plays through poor quality speakers, with Spotify ads too. We'd planned a day here with our one year old after calling to check the heated pool. For a nice pool day in colder weather, I'd suggest THE CHEDI instead. It also has a kids friendly heated pool, much warmer, and feels more premium, with a modern look, warm showers, nice cabana's and a good beach bar.

The food was average for the most part, though there was plenty to choose from. The rooms are spacious, and most have lovely lagoon views. If you can, the upgrade to one of the suites is worth the extra cost. We had a fantastic stay back in March and can recommend the place to anyone after a lovely vacation. The resort is clean and well cared for, with beautiful views and modern facilities. Special thanks to the Front Office Manager and Restaurant Manager, who were attentive and looked after us.
