Dolphin Continental Hotel

Getting from the room to the beach took only 10 meters, and the air conditioning worked very well. It’s a small, intimate hotel on the outskirts of al kusayr, and it was very clean. I had a very pleasant stay, though there was an unpleasant issue with the bill: Booking showed a final amount of $47, but I was charged $67 at the property after they added taxes and fees that I was exempt from. I explained the issue to Booking. Even so, I consider the stay very successful.

The sea view from the hotel is wonderful, and the clean beach is so close to the rooms that they feel almost right on it. The hotel looks excellent and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We got regular room service. The restaurant food was well cooked, breakfast had a satisfactory range, and dinner was elegant and well served.

We stayed for five nights on our honeymoon, and the package was affordable. The staff, including reception and housekeeping, were friendly, and room service was good. They served us a lovely romantic dinner with flowers and candles. The food was very good, and the room views were nice. The hotel beach has some stones, but a sandy beach without stones is about a three-minute walk away and free to use. There’s a child-friendly pool that’s 50 cm deep and another pool for adults at 170 cm. Ping pong and billiards are free, too. I’d give it five stars and highly recommend it.

The staff won me over. Everyone seemed to know their job, and they were so friendly and ready to help that we felt at home from the first few minutes. We got a welcome drink and fruit plate, and stayed in a small, cozy bungalow surrounded by a beautiful green area. The beach could give the wrong first impression, but staff showed us safe, interesting spots for swimming and snorkeling. Food was the one small drawback for us. With so few guests, they served meals at the table instead of having an open buffet, so you didn’t really get to choose what they cooked. I still liked all the dishes, and the chicken and meat were always delicious. My husband doesn’t like molokheya, though, and got it two days out of three, so he was a bit disappointed. Then they brought him a big birthday cake, which was so sweet of them. I’d like to come back and will recommend the hotel to my friends.
