It’s taken me two years to write this, but I want others to be careful about staying at this hotel. During my stay, a maid came into my room and stole money. Management later confirmed they had camera footage showing her entering after the room had already been cleaned. I had to cut my stay short. The next day made me even more uneasy. I packed all my things and left my bags by the door before going out briefly to run an errand. When I came back, management asked, “Are you leaving early?” I hadn’t told anyone I was leaving, so I wondered how they knew my bags were packed. It left me with the uncomfortable possibility that someone may have gone into my room while I was away. What a shame. I’ve traveled back and forth to Cairo, Egypt for over ten years, and never had such a frightening and disappointing experience.

I stayed a week at Aura Inn Hotel in Egypt. The location was good, with busy surroundings and everything you need nearby. My first reaction to the room was disappointment with the decor, but after I raised it, they upgraded me at no extra cost. They handled the issue well, so I give them five stars. I’d definitely return if I’m in Cairo again.

I spent four nights at this hotel, and the room was never cleaned once. I told the staff, but housekeeping still didn’t come. That lack of cleanliness and management follow-up made the stay uncomfortable. I hope they improve housekeeping for future guests.

The stay was beautiful and quiet, and the services and staff were truly wonderful. My sincere thanks to Ms. Rania Youssef for her dedication to her work, service, and helping the hotel’s guests.
