Hamza was friendly, but the other staff were rude when they realized they weren't getting a tip. Breakfast was okay, and the view was great. The area seemed dangerous to us. The hotel wasn't even one star in our experience. One day there was no water in the bathroom, and it was extremely noisy both inside and outside. We booked a king room but got a double instead. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here. The best part was the free airport shuttle for guests staying two nights or more.

Food was lovely, though a little pricey at 20 USD. We felt safe in the area, and there's a nearby convenience or grocery store. Giza is noisier than Cairo because of the traffic and early morning prayers, so bring earplugs. The staff were very friendly, and the view was great. We picked a balcony room and were happy with it, though our room from the terrace was unobstructed and even more spectacular.

The terrace was nice, with a good view, and breakfast was okay. The hotel is close to the pyramids, but the street is littered and smells bad. This doesn't feel like a proper hotel, since they converted the 10th to 12th floors into rooms. There's no sound insulation, and some rooms don't have windows. Reception is on the 10th floor, so avoid rooms there: you can hear every word spoken at reception. The receptionist was sick and coughed all night, and also took a couple of calls on speakerphone. I'd send people I hate here so their vacation gets ruined.

The manager told me I was the first guest from Taiwan to stay here. The hotel was very clean overall, and the manager was friendly at check-in, explaining the facilities. We enjoyed the stay, but check-out changed how I felt about the service. After checking out, we asked a male front desk staff member if the hotel could mail a postcard for us, especially since the post office was only about 100 meters away. He said, “You guys are checked out already, and it’s not my business now.” I was honestly shocked. Saying that right after check-out felt unprofessional and left us very disappointed. After this, I wouldn't recommend the hotel to others.
