La Boutique Hôtel - Vue Des Pyramides

Clean and cozy, and the view of the pyramids is amazing. The location is a big plus: close to the Pyramids, GEM, and Mena House. It makes a decent base in Giza if you can put up with a few drawbacks. The highway is nearby, so passing vehicles can bother light sleepers. There was loud music and banging from the rooftop until around 2 am, audible from my third-floor room. Basic amenities like a hair dryer, flat iron, and kettle were there, but no bidet. The body wash and shampoo seemed to be the same product. Breakfast was basic and could use improvement.

Breakfast was the big letdown. The choices were limited and the food was poor, while the service was badly organized despite there being plenty of staff. Their English was extremely limited, so even simple requests for bottled water or eggs led to confusion. We skipped breakfast altogether the morning after our first day. The location is excellent, directly facing the Pyramids of Giza. Our room was modern and comfortable enough, and the staff, especially at reception, were generally polite and helpful. We also had an acceptable buffet lunch at the hotel on our last day, before leaving for Luxor. Some things were good, but breakfast needs a serious improvement to match the rest of the property.

The balcony room at the front was too noisy, so we moved to one at the back. Aside from that, everything was great. The hotel is right across the road from the pyramids. The rooftop restaurant has been enclosed, and now there’s only a long table outside with very little space. It doesn’t look like the pictures. The photo I’m sharing is from the balcony.

The view is what made the stay unforgettable. You can see the pyramids clearly from the balcony and the restaurant, so waking up and eating with that backdrop feels special. The hotel was very good too, and the location is hard to beat.
