Piccolo Mondo Botique Hotel

Ahmed made our stay one we won’t forget. He was caring and always available, ordered food for us without taking any money, drove us to a money exchange office, and offered us coffee. He looked after us so well. Thank you for everything, Ahmed. We stayed at Piccolo Mondo for two days and had what was probably the finest view of the Pyramids from the hotel. The decor was excellent, and the hall and kitchen were well equipped. The house help prepared an excellent breakfast for us.

Ahmed, the owner, made us feel at home and was very welcoming. This new property is a hidden gem, with what I think is the best pyramid view from the 9th Floor. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy. There’s a shared kitchen with a microwave oven, and groups of around 10 can book the whole property and use the full space, including the common living room.

The entrance and lift are part of a residential building, so you wouldn’t guess this great place is up on the 9th floor. Once inside, though, the hotel is wonderful. It’s also close to the Pyramids of Giza and the new Grande Egyptian Museum. We were hosted here on an Egypt trip booked through a travel agency. The cleanliness was impeccable, the rooms modern and spacious, and ours looked out toward the Pyramids. Ahmed was attentive and helped us with food recommendations and finding our way around busy Cairo. I can definitely recommend it.

The views are beautiful, the hotel is peaceful and family-friendly, and it’s good value with modern amenities. Rooms, nearby activities, safety, walkability, and food and drinks all rated 10/10 for us. Piccolo Mondo Boutique Hotel was perfectly located, and our room was spotless. Ahmed was so kind and always ready to help. We’d love to come back if we visit 🇪🇬 again, in shaa Allah. Rooms 5.0, service 5.0, location 5.0.
