Taj pyramids view inn

The busy streets of Giza take some getting used to. We could hear traffic from our balcony room, which faced the Pyramids, and the inn is right by a main road leading to the tourist areas. That seems to be the case for hotels around here. We stayed five nights at the family-run Taj Pyramids View Inn and felt well looked after. It’s a simple place, but the staff are genuinely friendly and handled every request quickly and without fuss. We booked two tours through the hotel and everything went smoothly. They also arranged a driver at short notice for a trip with a later pickup, and that worked out really well. Breakfast was freshly made each day at the time we asked for, and the rooftop terrace has a great view. We’d book again. We booked at the last minute and stayed four nights at Taj Pyramid inn. The hotel itself isn’t perfect, but the customer service was phenomenal. The staff did everything they could to help us feel comfortable and safe. Bassant was so kind and pleasant. I sent her about 1000 messages during our stay, and she was always happy to help. Nadar and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too. Zied was especially great, working hard to look after everyone and always being available. We took two excursions through the hotel. They were a little expensive, but worth every dollar, and everyone spoke very good English. There’s no elevator, so be ready to climb stairs, though the staff will carry your luggage to your room. Thanks so much for an amazing, unforgettable experience in eygpt. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Our taxi driver Islam was always punctual, from picking us up at the airport to taking us back. We even sang songs like Macarena on the ride back from the Nile River Cruise. The guides made the trip just as memorable. Amira took us to the Pyramids, Alexandria, Fayoum and other places, and made us feel like family. Mai was knowledgeable on our trips to the Citadel, The Hanging Church and the Grand Egyptian Museum. We also had a blast riding quad bikes in the Giza desert with our guide there. Ahmed had told me what to expect before we arrived, which made the stay exciting from the start. The whole staff was great and we had no issues. My wife and I came for her birthday, and I’ll bring my whole family next time. We’ll stay at the Taj Pyramids View Inn again. It was a trip of a lifetime, and I’ll never forget it. God speed guys.

The pyramids look beautiful from this location, though being on a main street means there’s some noise. I also felt the staff were somewhat untrustworthy and tried to get money in different ways. Airport transfer isn’t free, you have to pay for it. For some people, I’d still say the hotel is above average.
