The staff were the best part of my stay. They were always smiling and willing to help, and I appreciated that. The location is convenient too: close to the pyramid, Carrefour, restaurants, and shops, with museums just 10-15 minutes away. Even so, I was unfortunately not satisfied with the stay overall. I booked through an agency and didn't select the room myself. I spent five days in Room 124, which I strongly advise future guests to avoid. The neighboring building is extremely close, so the room was very noisy, and people there could easily reach the balcony. That raised serious safety concerns for me. We slept for two days thinking the room door was locked, but it only secured properly with the double lock and could still be opened when single locked. There were several cleanliness and maintenance problems: the balcony door lock was broken and the balcony hadn't been cleaned; there was hair and urine staining on the toilet bowl; and the room was very dusty, making me itch and cough. The tea bags were left uncovered, collecting dust and affecting the tea quality. The entrance also made a poor first impression, and constant horns could be heard throughout the day. The room phone didn't work, and staff told us it was non-functional. Housekeeping would benefit from more training, and management needs to pay closer attention to wear and tear. The hotel needs significant improvement in safety, maintenance, and cleaning standards. I felt guest comfort and safety weren't being prioritized enough. I wouldn't recommend the hotel or stay here again.

This is a budget-friendly place that works well enough if you just need somewhere to sleep while exploring, but I wouldn't choose it for a leisure stay. The location is close to the pyramids and museum, with restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and other eateries nearby. It's easy to find and convenient for booking cabs. The rooms are decent for the price, and breakfast is amazing. On my first stay, the smart TV wouldn't connect to the hotel Wi-Fi. We asked the night and day staff for help 3-4 times, but no one came, so I used my mobile hotspot. During my second stay, our room didn't have a smart TV. I asked to change rooms and was told they'd let us know, but they never followed up. The staff and room service were extremely unhelpful. Only the security guard helped with our bags when we arrived, and no one assisted when we left the hotel either time. The lift needs fixing. We got stuck in the dark about five times going up or down from the first floor. With our heavy bags, we also almost missed our bus when the lift wouldn't work from the third floor.

I'm from the UK and got here yesterday after being catfished by another hotel I booked. It looked nothing like the pictures, so I came here on a recommendation. I probably never would have found this place on booking.com. The photos don't do it justice: it's absolutely spotless, with massive rooms and a perfect location. You can get anything delivered. If you're staying in Cairo for a few days while visiting from another city, this place is perfect. After seeing what hotels in Cairo were like, I couldn't believe how good this one was or how affordable it was. It's a real hidden gem. If I come to Cairo again, you'll definitely see me.

The room I got was decent in the end, but it wasn't the one I booked, and the view didn't really match the photos. I had to try several times before settling on the fourth room. I asked the person showing me around to take me to the room pictured in the booking. He said he couldn't. When I asked if that room existed, he plainly said, “No, this room does not exist,” and didn't answer my other questions. Outside the front, people kept bothering me to buy something or take a taxi somewhere, and children were trying to rob and pickpocket me.

The front desk guys were nice and very helpful, though not professional in their dress. But I probably wouldn't stay here again. The rooms smelled of smoke, the sheets and bathroom weren't clean, and people were smoking in the lobby even after we complained twice about the cigarette smell. The shower head was terrible and had barely any pressure. It's on a busy street, with constant honking until 2-3am that messed up my sleep. We asked for an iron, but apparently the whole hotel only has one and it was in use. A staff member offered to take our clothes and iron them, which I thought was a courtesy, then charged us $2 per item. Terrible service.
