The rooftop restaurant has a great view straight out to the pyramids and Sphinx, which made the occasional long wait for food easier to take. The food itself was tasty. My room was nice too, with a pleasant mountain view. Zaid spent a lot of time driving us around, which saved us the hassle of sorting out taxis. Check-in and checkout were very smooth, and the staff were helpful throughout. You can smell horses and camels from the nearby carriages, though it wasn’t too bad.

The staff were polite and friendly, and the pyramids view was the one real bright spot. The rest of the stay was disappointing. The smell of horse and camel manure hit us as soon as we arrived. Our room was dirty, with stained sheets, hairs in view, and sand all over the carpet. The fridge didn’t work, and the small boiler for the shower ran out of hot water quickly. Breakfast was okay, but the coffee was terrible. There’s no elevator, and we had to haul our suitcases up narrow, unsafe stairs to the second floor. Nobody had mentioned that beforehand. I wouldn’t stay here again.
The room was big and clean, with a large window facing the pyramids. The rooftop was clean and pleasant too, and Yuri cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. Saed met me at the airport right as I came out, on time and ready to go. At reception, Adam, Kati, and Jenny gave me a warm welcome and showed me to my room. Saed then took me wherever I asked and showed me all sorts of things around the city. Adam, you’re magic! I had an amazing time at Tut hotel Giza. Thanks, everyone. I recommend it and can’t wait to come back.
There’s a lovely view of the Pyramids from the rooftop, but that was the only good part for me. They charged us more when we arrived than the price listed on Booking, and our room didn’t get cleaned once during the week. With a camel parking area right below the windows, the place also smells of camels and manure. Terrible hotel.
I liked my room, and the rooftop view is the highlight, especially in the morning and evening. Being so close to the sphynix entrence meant I could be at the Kings Chamber first, after a walk of less than five minutes. The service was really nice, and Saeed, Adam, and Amira were down to earth.
