The rooms were in very poor shape. During our stay, the tap water was interrupted at times, and the air conditioner kept leaking. The food was acceptable, with several kinds of meat, fish, salads, and four types of fruit. What I liked most was the lovely green grounds and the convenient, quiet bay without waves. The hotel has a long coastline with a sandy beach. There are also lots of shops outside, and a street leading to the large Sanzomall shopping center.

The beach was nice, but the music played there was obscenely loud and repetitive all day. The pools were open for only 4 hours a day. The resort has very few restaurants or snack shops, and if you're not all-inclusive, you can't buy anything at the hotel restaurant or snack shop. That left boba tea as the only thing to get at the beach. Buying all-inclusive was an absolute hassle, and they did nothing to help us. The service was beyond awful. They didn't empty the trash cans, and even after we asked directly, four of us got no more than 2 rolls of toilet paper for 9 nights. We asked twice for more towels, but it took 3 days to bring 2 more, so we'd have one each. The room was a mess too. The fridge was broken in three places and incredibly loud, the kitchen fan didn't work, and even with four people we got just one key. The walls were paper thin, so we could hear people walking outside the door. The bathroom smelled bad even with the ventilation running 24 hours a day. That ventilation was loud and meant keeping the light on. Cheers Mirage Buy for showing us that however low your expectations are, some places can still fall short of them.

This was the worst vacation of my life. The place is very outdated, crowded, and full of what I called low-class people. The food had no taste or variety, and seemed the same every meal. The hotel room was horrible and nothing like what I saw described on booking.com. There was no sofa, the bed sheets were yellowish from dirt, and the safe wasn't safe at all. It could be detached and stolen easily, contents and all. I attached photos of what I faced at this disgusting place. Don't waste your money on this hotel and resort.

We stayed here for the second time, from December 30 to January 13, 2026, and my impressions are mixed. I can't tell whether the hotel has improved or gotten worse over the past year. We'd asked in advance for a room in a particular building, and got it at check-in. They put the bracelet on immediately when we arrived and didn't remove it until we left. Everything in the room worked, there was hot water and two warm blankets. Cleaning happened daily, though it wasn't very thorough. They left two 1.5-liter bottles of water, shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion each day. The pastel linen and towels were changed once in two weeks, and then only after we asked. On our last day, the room cleaner complained that we hadn't tipped enough and asked us for our JBL speaker. I'd never had anyone ask for something like that before. The food had improved over the year. Breakfast had more variety and pastries, and there was always fish, chicken, or beef at lunch and dinner. Desserts were delicious, and fruits included guava, oranges, tangerines, dates, and melon. There were different cocktails in the lobby and on the beach. The beach was a whole separate story. At first there weren't enough towels, and those who got them guarded them like jewels. Later the crowds thinned and towels were no longer scarce. Finding a sunbed was the next quest, since half were broken. Then it was a quest to find a mattress, because half of those were sagging or torn. The animation team was the worst I've ever seen, especially the blonde Veronica. First she said she was Italian, then Portuguese. She has no idea how to talk to hotel guests and behaved rudely. I had to complain about her at reception once. Then the chief animator of Rome came over to apologize, apparently just for show, because the animation team stayed rude. Half the guests didn't even know where the evening entertainment was because nobody shared any information. The shows were boring and uninteresting. In the Miss hotel contest, you had to crow and pretend to lay an egg. What was that? The prize was a disco trip with the animators, which wasn't relevant to many people. We went to a club with them once for $10, but they wouldn't let us move around on our own. They grabbed our hands so we wouldn't leave them and made us dance in a circle like at a kids' club, all for our own money. Veronica yelled at us to listen to her. I'm 45 and my friend is 50. That's complete rudeness. After we complained at reception, they tried to justify their behaviour by accusing us of dancing as though we were offering ourselves to men. On the way back to the hotel, the head animator, Rima, became ill and was vomiting. We thought we wouldn't make it back. What kind of boss is she, when the team is the same? Veronica and Habiba only spoke with local Arabs on the beach and weren't interested in ordinary tourists. We didn't go anywhere else with them. After that, they ignored us and didn't approach us again for the rest of the holiday. I kindly ask the hotel management to pay attention to this behaviour. That team ruined my impression of the whole hotel, and I won't be coming back.

I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel. Booking all-inclusive for 21 nights with my toddler was a terrible mistake. It's only the third day of the stay, and I'm already waiting for the holiday to end. Customer service just doesn't exist here. Staff are rude and disrespectful, leaving you standing while they chat and laugh. The reception team don't seem to know much. I asked for an iron and they had none; I asked about laundry and was told there was no service. We had a room issue on arrival, and they said someone would get back to me. Nobody did until I followed up again, and again. The food is cold and bland, with the same things every day. Our room is full of ants, even in the bathroom. Shocking hotel. I won't book here again.
