Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort

We enjoyed every moment here. The upgraded room had stunning views and was spacious, and the internet worked perfectly. Breakfast was lovely, with an incredible range of local and Egyptian food. The pool was a bit small, but the little island with a bay was perfect for swimming. The gym was small but sufficient, and the spa had great offers. A proper 5 star hotel for service and facilities.

Ms. Hajar Shohdy - Guest Relations made a huge difference to my family’s stay and birthday celebration at this Marriott property. She showed strong leadership from our arrival and was the lynchpin behind making the occasion so memorable. While off shift, she even answered my call at midnight to make sure my family was settled and cared for. That kind of ownership and genuine attention is rare. Her staff clearly respect her, and it was easy to see why: she leads calmly, professionally and with extraordinary kindness. The team responds to her with trust and admiration, which says a lot about the culture she creates. At a time when great customer service feels increasingly uncommon, she reminded us what hospitality can be. Marriott is fortunate to have someone of her caliber representing the brand. Leaders like her strengthen guest loyalty and inspire teams, and deserve recognition and advancement. Please acknowledge her efforts and leadership. My family will always remember her kindness and professionalism, and she made our celebration truly special.

The beach was right there, with plenty of space, and the location was beautiful. We stayed for about 5 nights with my parents and loved the lovely room views. Breakfast was great every morning and well set up, and the staff were beyond amazing, helpful and hospitable. One staff member, I think their name was Hashim or Hakim, sorry, the very tall person, was especially kind and helpful to us each morning. Thank you for being so kind during our stay. Our whole time in Hurghada was pleasant, and I’d book here again in a heartbeat.

We came as a couple to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and were extremely happy with our stay. The hotel may be dated, but it’s very well maintained, clean and clearly cared for. Our room was comfortable and spotless, with daily housekeeping. After nearly 20 years of travel in Egypt, these were easily the best beds we’ve slept in. We finally had a true king-size bed instead of two beds pushed together, which made a real difference. The Wi-Fi was strong, free, unlimited and available throughout the resort, even on the beach. That was a major plus. The main restaurant food was consistently good and high quality. The buffet wasn’t huge, but had enough variety for us to eat well each day, with a different grill option outdoors every evening. We also really enjoyed an evening at the excellent Italian à la carte restaurant. The pool was clean and comfortable, not overheated, and the beach was beautifully maintained, with plenty of space on the additional pier. The pool and beach bars were tidy and well stocked, and had friendly staff. Hotel staff were polite, helpful and quick to fix any small issue. Omar at reception deserves a special thank you for going out of his way to help us. The gym was surprisingly well equipped, including proper strength training facilities, which isn’t common at resort hotels. A few small things: the hotel is slightly dated, but that didn’t bother us. The air conditioning works well but is a bit noisy, so we cooled the room before bed. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower rather than a walk-in, which may be less practical for some older guests. The animation team is small and the entertainment modest, but this isn’t a hotel focused on loud or extensive animation, which suited us perfectly. We wanted peace, comfort and relaxation, and that’s what we got. It’s a well-kept resort with excellent beds, attentive staff and a calm atmosphere. We’d definitely return and can highly recommend it.
