JAZ Makadi Oasis Resort

This was my first trip to Egypt, and surely not the last. The hotel is really well organized and covers everything for people who want a break from worrying. The spaces are tidy, close together, and there’s a great variety of attractions. But for me, places are made by the people, and the team here is friendly, helpful, patient and professional. Ibrahim kept order in our room with a lovely artistic touch, making a different towel arrangement every day for our kid-on-board room. Mohamed was a restaurant service master, quicker than wind and thought when it came to every wish at our meals. Ahmed was a kitchen magician, somehow everywhere at both the beach and restaurant, making great food even for picky eaters like us. Yassir made our beach refreshment wishes come true before we’d even thought of them, running across the pan-hot sandy shore with cold drinks and such warm kindness. There were many more kind, fantastic people helping us rest without worries. I hope we all meet the same kindness from the Jaz Makadi Hotel Team wherever we go. THANK YOU 💚 Thank you very much ☀️

Rady and Abd El Rahman made us feel at home as soon as we arrived at Jaz Makadi Oasis. Rady paid close attention to details, met every need promptly and always had a smile. Abd El Rahman was just as friendly, and knew a lot about the hotel amenities and local attractions. Their care made our stay memorable, and the whole team worked hard to make the experience wonderful. Thank you to Rady, Abd El Rahman and everyone at Jaz Makadi Oasis. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy attentive service.

We had a fabulous week and hope to come back soon. The hotel was welcoming and family friendly, with a large heated pool for the children and a spacious family room equipped with what we needed. Food exceeded our expectations, with plenty of local dishes and delicious European choices. Abd el looked after us at meals and was especially good with the children. Mahmoud, who took care of our room, was friendly and made beautiful towel art. The sandy beach is a scenic 7 minute walk away, and beach staff were helpful and friendly. Table service there felt like an extra treat. Julia from the entertainment team was encouraging during the hotel Olympics, and we particularly enjoyed the African acrobatic evening show. The snorkel trip and visit to Orange Island were a highlight, and we’d highly recommend them. It’s a friendly, welcoming resort.

Sam the man kept us laughing and brought drinks while we relaxed by the pool. Even with so many people to serve, he remembered our orders after only a couple of visits. Afro and Jonny also made an effort all day and kept us entertained. We came for a family holiday after relatives recommended the resort, and they were right. The hotel’s exterior and interior are gorgeous, and staff keep everything clean and well maintained. Our bed was really comfortable, the pillows were huge and the view was lush. It was very quiet at night. I’m still here, already thinking about coming back and hoping Sam will still be around. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a resort in the area.
