Pickalbatros Laguna Vista Hotel - Sharm El Sheikh

The sea was calm and incredibly clean, and the staff were attentive, professional, and plentiful. The bartenders at the pastry shop bar were especially warm, while the beach waiters brought drinks over with excellent service. Reception were also very helpful and did their best to assist us. Our room was flawless and had everything we needed, so the hotel met our expectations. The food was fine, though a few Turkish dishes and more snack variety would have been nice. Walking to the end of the pier could get tedious. It would also be great to have a board identifying the fish and other marine life in the water, since we had to figure them all out ourselves.

The resort and facilities were beautiful, and the whole team made us feel cared for. Hany from room service kept our room spotless and comfortable, while Mahmood and Nagah from the drinks team welcomed us with warm smiles and such thoughtful service at the bars and restaurants. The animation team, Omar, Felix, Ibrahim, and Marvin, brought energy and friendliness to every day. They worked hard to include and entertain guests, and helped make the atmosphere fantastic. This was one of the best holidays we've ever had at Pickalbatros Laguna Vista Sharm El-Sheikh. We're already looking forward to coming back. Thanks to everyone for making it such a special stay!

We were there for a week, and my kids had plenty to keep them busy with all the activities. They loved the aqua park, which was right across from our room. Nabil at reception arranged a ground-floor room with windows opening onto a small swimming pool, and its location near reception and the dining area was really convenient. Since I was on crutches for my knee physiotherapy, the room setup made things much easier. The staff understood my limited mobility and drove me by golf buggy to the main pool and beach whenever I needed. Manager Hossain was always around and very supportive when I needed help. The all-inclusive setup was a big help with children, and even if we missed a meal, another restaurant or café was open. Before arriving, I was nervous because it was my first solo holiday with my 7-year-old twins. The staff quickly put me at ease. We also became good friends with the animation team: Anna and Mattia from Valtur, and Anna and Jaguar from the Albatros team. I'm grateful for all the kindness and care that made our stay exceptional.

There was so much for kids to do, from surfing and aqua games to tennis and activities put on by the animation team. The beach was lovely for snorkeling, and pools all over the resort gave it a lagoon feel. The restaurant had excellent food and a great range, including gluten-free options. The jetty marina still needs to be finished so guests can get past the coral reefs. Once that's done, I'd give the resort full marks, and it looks like the improvement will happen soon. I can't wait to come back and experience the activities all over again.
