We’re four days into our stay at Jaz Makadi Saraya and it’s a wonderful place. Everything’s fairly flat, with buildings no more than 3 floors. Sunflower restaurant offers lots of choice, though it gets very busy at peak times. The staff have all been attentive and very good. We’ve spent most of our time at the quieter Ganzabil Pool. Saleh brought us mattresses, and Fam has looked after us especially well. I don’t know how he remembers everyone’s poolside orders. Our room was quite large, but the mattress and pillows were very firm. An iron and ironing board in the room would be handy, so guests don’t have to request them. I should also mention Mohammed, who cleaned our room, replaced our pool towels and left lovely bedding displays that made us smile each time we returned.

I loved every part of it. The food was incredible, with a huge range of dishes for every taste, including options for diabetics. The staff were friendly and always cheerful. The grounds were beautifully kept, with greenery throughout, which is rare in Egypt. It’s a lovely place to relax and definitely worth visiting.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and providers offering massages, trips and entertainment were few and not intrusive. Beach towels were changed in the evening by the staff right in our room, so there was no need to go anywhere. The Wi-Fi worked all over the hotel, including the rooms, which was excellent. The hotel is cozy, and the architects and groundskeepers deserve praise. It was the best-maintained hotel area I’ve stayed in, and you need to see it yourself because photos don’t capture it. I was a little disappointed by the drinking water in reusable bottles, apparently filled at the hotel, since sometimes it smelled of chlorine. Even so, we’ll come back.

We had such a fun time at Jaz Makadi Saraya and are looking forward to coming back. The hotel is lovely and cozy, the staff are nice and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable. The night view is amazing, the food is great, and the animation team are among the funniest, liveliest and friendliest I’ve seen.

The gardens and pools are lovely, and the food is fantastic. It’s not just the burger and chips you find elsewhere. The staff are cheerful and attentive, and the whole team should be proud of what they’ve done here. This is certainly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, and I’ll definitely return.
