Avoid staying here. I was bitten by bugs, as another reviewer mentioned. This is my second reply to the merchant. I had more than 20 bites after staying here, and I know how mosquito bites differ from bug bites. I’ve already bought medicine at a pharmacy. Please thoroughly disinfect and clean the hotel instead of immediately denying there’s a problem!

We spent the last three days of our 15 day Egypt trip at Masaya hotel, after all the travel between cities, diving, and hours walking around historic sites. We were worn out and wanted somewhere to rest, and it gave us exactly that. The room had fresh sheets and towels, a comfortable bed and pillows, hot water, a kettle with tea and coffee, and a fridge. It was quiet, with supermarkets, a bakery, and plenty of restaurants and cafes a short walk away. The room was big and spotless, with a nice balcony. The team were friendly, and the price felt fair for the quality and cleanliness. We’d stay at Masaya hotel again on our next Hurghada trip without looking elsewhere. We fully recommend it. Thank you Tamer. Thank you Ivy ☺

The rooms are spacious and very clean. There’s a great cafe downstairs with strong coffee, lovely fresh juices, and board games to play.
