Clean, calm and lovely, with two pools. The apartments are bright and spacious, though a few have an odd hexagonal shape. The pools are kept cleaner than at many other compounds, and they don’t let too many local kids use them. One concern was the timing of the pool chemicals. They weren’t always treated at night, so when the work happened during the day, we weren’t sure when it was safe to swim again. It’s in a quiet side street in Kawther, but the street is poorly lit and some taxi drivers have trouble finding it. It’s an untarmacked dirt track, with holes and raised drains, so I wouldn’t suggest walking there at night. For Hurghada, it’s one of the better compounds for cleanliness and peace, and the rental prices reflect that.

The apartments are roomy, the pool is lovely, and shops, cafes and restaurants are nearby. The beach is about 15 minutes on foot or 4 minutes by taxi, and I recommend Old Vic or Dream Beach. It’s also near the airport. The compound is very good, consistently clean, with great service, and feels safe.
