Robinson Soma Bay

The friendly, professional team, beachfront setting, and well-kept facilities were lovely. Food and sports activities were also very good, as you’d expect at a ROBINSON club. Still, the construction work had a big effect on our stay. Heavy machinery and hammering started early and carried on through the day, audible at the pool and sometimes even by the beach, making it hard to relax. We weren’t told about the building work beforehand. Guests choosing the resort for a quiet holiday would have appreciated more transparency. It has a lot of potential, but the noise affected our experience.

The Luxor day trip arranged by the hotel was a highlight. Our group had just six people, the guide was excellent, and we got a good mix of history and culture. We left after breakfast and returned in time for dinner. The beach was beautiful, with clear, pleasantly warm water, colorful corals and fish on the house reef, and sunsets behind the mountains. There were plenty of daytime activities and professional evening shows in the theater, all fun and never pushy. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless. Food was the best I’ve had in Hurghada and Makadi, with a wide choice of fresh meat and fish, creative vegetarian and vegan dishes, and delicious desserts. The taste, quality, presentation, and attentive, friendly service were excellent. Both the Robins and Egyptian team were warm and helpful, and always up for a friendly chat. I felt welcome from the start. An unforgettable stay, and I’d recommend the hotel without hesitation.

The mix of relaxing and staying active was just right. I could join yoga, play sports, or lounge by the pool, and the evening entertainment brought everyone together. The food was another favorite, with lots of fresh choices, themed nights, and care put into each meal. I especially liked having local flavors alongside international dishes. The long sandy beach, clear Red Sea, and coral reefs were stunning. I tried snorkeling and windsurfing, and the water sports team was helpful and encouraging. From arrival, the staff’s warmth and professionalism made me feel welcome. I spent an unforgettable week at ROBINSON Club Soma Bay and only wished I could have stayed longer. I can’t wait to come back.

The clean, comfortable room was a nice place to come back to, and the food was fresh, varied, and full of flavor. The sports and entertainment were well organized and brought a lively feel to the stay. I was warmly welcomed by the friendly, professional team, and the crystal-clear water and sandy beach made the days feel like paradise.
